Day 4 was a complete disaster β the kind that reminds you just how unpredictable and unforgiving craps can be. Despite hitting one grand slam, three home runs, and countless doubles, the 7s were simply too much to bear.
We were hit from every direction. Every time we started to build momentum, another 7 appeared and wiped it out instantly. We even extended play in hopes of catching a turnaround inning, but it only made things worse. The dice never gave us a chance to recover.
The brutal truth: this strategy was too vulnerable to the middle numbers β the 5, 6, 7, and 8 β which left too many holes in the defense. What started as a promising system for stacking multiple wins per roll turned into a cautionary lesson about exposure and probability.
We started the session with $4,822 and ended at $2,321, losing all of our previous profit and then some. The Baseball Craps series officially ends here.
But the takeaway is valuable β itβs more important to document how a strategy loses than to only highlight the wins. Understanding the weaknesses is what prepares us for better, stronger systems in the future.
Weβre heading back to the drawing board, with sharper data, new insights, and a commitment to evolve. This isnβt the end β itβs just the end of one experiment.
